BSC Preferred's™ Series direct drive exhaust fans are designed for higher static pressure applications in factories, warehouses, and mills for the removal of fume, smoke, or dust, providing dependable performance with minimal maintenance. These fans feature standard cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers and are suitable for hazardous environments when equipped with an explosion-proof motor. They deliver more cubic feet per minute (CFM) per dollar spent compared to belt-driven fans and are lighter in weight, facilitating easier installation. The heavy-duty spun venturi panel includes a rugged all-welded motor support structure. The fans are available for both exhaust and intake air applications. Optional accessories include a fan and shutter mounting box, front and rear OSHA-compliant guards, an all-aluminum gravity exhaust shutter, a motorized exhaust or intake shutter, and a weather hood with birdscreen.
