BSC Preferred's™ Series direct drive exhaust fans are designed for high static pressure applications in factories, warehouses, and mills, ideal for fume, smoke, or dust removal, providing dependable performance with minimal maintenance. The fans feature cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers as standard and are suitable for use in hazardous environments when equipped with an explosion-proof motor. They offer more CFM per dollar spent compared to belt-driven fans and are lighter in weight, facilitating easier installation. The heavy-duty spun venturi panel includes a rugged all-welded motor support structure. The fans are available for either exhaust or intake air applications and can be equipped with optional accessories such as a fan and shutter mounting box, front and rear OSHA compliant guards, an all-aluminum gravity exhaust shutter, a motorized exhaust or intake shutter, and a weather hood with birdscreen.
