BSC Preferred's™ Series Direct Drive Exhaust Fans are designed for higher static pressure applications in factories, warehouses, and mills, specifically for fume, smoke, or dust removal, delivering reliable performance with minimal maintenance. The fans are equipped with cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers as standard and can be outfitted with an explosion-proof motor for use in hazardous environments. They provide more CFM per dollar spent compared to belt-driven fans, feature a low maintenance design, and are lighter in weight than their belt-driven counterparts, facilitating easier installation. The fans include a heavy-duty spun venturi panel and a rugged all-welded motor support structure, and they are suitable for both exhaust and intake air applications. The product comes with a 12-month manufacturer's limited warranty for parts and labor. Optional accessories include a fan and shutter mounting box, front and rear OSHA compliant guards, an all-aluminum gravity exhaust shutter, a motorized exhaust or intake shutter, and a weatherhood with bird screen.
