BSC Preferred's™ Series Direct Drive Exhaust Fans are designed for higher static pressure applications in factories, warehouses, and mills, effectively removing fume, smoke, or dust while ensuring dependable performance with minimal maintenance. Key features include standard cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers and the option for an explosion-proof motor, making them suitable for hazardous environments. These fans deliver more CFM per dollar compared to belt-driven fans and are lighter in weight, which simplifies installation. The robust design includes a heavy-duty spun venturi panel and a rugged all-welded motor support structure. The fans can be utilized for both exhaust and intake air applications, with optional accessories available such as a fan and shutter mounting box, front and rear OSHA-compliant guards, an all-aluminum gravity exhaust shutter, a motorized exhaust or intake shutter, and a weatherhood with birdscreen.
