BSC Preferred's™ Series Direct Drive Exhaust Fans are designed for applications requiring higher static pressure in factories, warehouses, and mills for the removal of fume, smoke, or dust, offering reliable performance with minimal maintenance. The fans come with standard cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers and can be equipped with a 5 or 10 HP motor for enhanced specifications. These units are suitable for hazardous environments when paired with an explosion-proof motor, providing greater CFM per dollar compared to belt-driven fans, along with their low maintenance and lighter weight facilitating easier installation. The heavy-duty spun venturi panel features a robust all-welded motor support structure and is available for both exhaust and intake air applications. The product includes a 12-month manufacturer's limited warranty for both parts and labor. Optional accessories include a fan and shutter mounting box, front and rear OSHA-compliant guards, all-aluminum gravity exhaust shutter, motorized exhaust or intake shutter, and a weatherhood with bird screen.
