BSC Preferred's™ Series Direct Drive Exhaust Fans are designed for higher static pressure applications in factories, warehouses, and mills, specifically for the removal of fume, smoke, or dust. This unit ensures dependable performance with minimal maintenance requirements and is available with optional specifications including a 7-1/2 or 10 HP motor. Key features include cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers, suitability for hazardous environments when equipped with an explosion-proof motor, and providing more CFM per dollar compared to belt-driven fans. The fans are lighter than traditional belt-driven units, facilitating easier installation, and feature a heavy-duty spun venturi panel with a robust all-welded motor support structure. They are versatile for both exhaust and intake air applications. The product comes with a 12-month manufacturer's limited warranty for parts and labor. Optional accessories include a fan and shutter mounting box, front and rear OSHA-compliant guards, an all-aluminum gravity exhaust shutter, a motorized exhaust or intake shutter, and a weatherhood with bird screen.
