BSC Preferred's™ Series Direct Drive Exhaust Fans are designed for higher static pressure applications in factories, warehouses, and mills for effective fume, smoke, or dust removal. They offer reliable performance with minimal maintenance and feature cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers as standard. Optional specifications include a 3-phase 230/460V electrical configuration and motor sizes of 1, 1-1/2, or 3 HP. The fans are suitable for hazardous environments when equipped with an explosion-proof motor, providing more CFM per dollar spent compared to belt-driven fans. They are lighter and easier to install than belt-driven units, featuring a heavy-duty spun venturi panel with a rugged all-welded motor support structure, and can be used for both exhaust and intake air applications. The product is backed by a 12-month manufacturer's limited warranty for parts and labor. Optional accessories include a fan and shutter mounting box, front and rear OSHA compliant guards, an all-aluminum gravity exhaust shutter, a motorized exhaust or intake shutter, and a weatherhood with bird screen.
