The 2 in. x 5 in. lead free seamless red brass pipe nipple is designed to withstand a pressure rating of 140 psi and conforms to Schedule 40 specifications. Made from seamless red brass pipe alloy 230, these brass nipples are easier to machine, exhibit less brittleness during work, and provide significantly better corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, as they will not dezincify. The excellent corrosion resistance that brass offers makes it suitable for various applications, including commercial plumbing and OEM uses, as well as oil, gas, and steam applications.
