The 2 in. x 3-1/2 in. lead free seamless red brass pipe nipple is designed to handle up to 140 psi and conforms to Schedule 40 specifications. Manufactured from seamless red brass pipe made of alloy 230, this brass nipple offers improved machinability and reduced brittleness compared to yellow brass, with greater resistance to corrosion and no risk of dezincification. It provides excellent corrosion resistance against water, heat, salt water, acids, minerals, and peaty soils typically found in water environments. Commonly used in commercial plumbing and OEM applications for water transport, this brass nipple is also suitable for oil, gas, and steam applications.
