Electric heat-traced stations are designed to prevent freezing in extreme conditions, ensuring reliable performance down to -20°F. These thermostat-regulated units utilize self-limiting heat-tracing cable that wraps around internal pipes, activating when the internal piping temperature drops below 75°F. The units are fully wired at the factory and come with a junction box and components rated for Class I, Division 2, Groups B, C, and D, with FM, UL, and CSA certifications. They require a 120 VAC single-phase power supply and are constructed with UV-resistant orange ABS plastic and polyethylene foam insulation. Maintenance is facilitated by jacket sections secured with removable stainless steel screws. The unit features a 10" diameter and a flow control rate of 20 GPM. It includes a 1" IPS brass stay-on ball valve made in the USA with brass ball and PTFE seals, along with a stainless steel actuating arm and a 29" stainless steel pull rod. It is freeze-resistant, with dust covers that float off and internal flow control. Additionally, it includes a 1/2" IPS brass three-way self-draining stay-open ball valve and a 1/2" NPT port for draining water from spray heads after use. The pipes and fittings are constructed with Schedule 40 galvanized steel, featuring a 1-1/4" NPT female top inlet. An ANSI-compliant identification sign is included, and the unit is factory tested prior to shipment, arriving fully assembled.
