The portable eyewash and drench hose unit utilizes air pressure to deliver 10 gallons (37.5 liters) of water for 15 minutes, making it suitable for low hazard areas where a continuous water supply is not available. The unit is mounted on a two-wheel hand truck for ease of installation and mobility, featuring a painted steel frame with handles and two rubber wheels, secured by a clamp. It includes a 15-gallon (56L) stainless steel tank equipped with built-in carrying handles, an air intake valve, a pressure gauge, and a pressure relief valve. The eyewash system is designed for a 15-minute usage duration, equipped with two GS-Plus low flow spray heads with flip-top dust covers, integral flow controls, and filters, operated by a 1/2" IPS chrome-plated brass ball valve with a flag handle, which allows the user’s hands to remain free during operation. The drench hose features a single GS-Plus spray head, a self-closing valve with a handle, and a 6-foot (2M) reinforced PVC hose for rinsing the user's eyes, face, or body. The eyewash delivers 0.7 GPM (2.6L/min) for 15 minutes, while the drench hose provides 1.7 GPM (6.4L/min) for 6 minutes, recognizing that the discharge time will be reduced if both systems are used simultaneously.
