The G1562HTR-DOL portable eyewash/drench hose unit is designed to comply with ANSI Z358.1-2014 standards, ensuring that the water delivered is maintained at tepid temperatures between 60° and 100° F (15.5°- 37.8° C). This electrically heated and insulated unit is suitable for environments where ambient temperatures may fall below the tepid range and features a silicone drum heater that activates at a thermostat setting of 65° F (18.3° C). The unit is capable of delivering 10 gallons (37.5L) of water for 15 minutes using air pressure, making it ideal for low hazard areas lacking a continuous water supply. Installation involves filling the 15-gallon (56L) stainless steel tank with clean potable water and a supplied bacteriostatic additive, which prevents the growth of bacteria, fungus, algae, and Acanthamoeba, followed by pressurizing with 80 PSI (5.5 BAR) air pressure. The portable unit is mounted on a dolly with a stainless steel platform and four polyurethane non-marking lockable wheels for easy movement. It requires a 15 AMP, 120 Volt power supply, with a total amp draw of 3.33 AMPS, and comes equipped with a 9' cord featuring a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) plug and manual reset. The exterior is clad in a high visibility orange insulated nylon jacket that protects against freezing and is waterproof and mildew-resistant.
