This vented plastic shelving utilizes ion technology that inhibits the growth of mold, fungus, and bacteria, making it ideal for storing food in walk-in refrigerators and freezers in restaurant and kitchen environments. The shelves are reinforced with a Camguard™ finish, which ensures durability and resistance to scraping, washing, or wearing out. Constructed from rust-free, recyclable polypropylene, these shelves are dishwasher safe and feature weldless construction that prevents liquid or dirt penetration. Each shelf is height adjustable in 4-inch increments without needing to disassemble the unit. The posts and bracing are made with a steel core and a smooth polypropylene exterior designed for longevity. The kit includes a two post kit and five vented shelves, with a weight capacity of 800 lbs (365 kg) per 24-48" (61-122 cm) shelf and 600 lbs (272 kg) per 54-72" (137-183 cm) shelf, allowing for a maximum capacity of 2,000 lbs (910 kg) per unit. Additionally, the posts come with adjustable leveling feet, and the design is easy to clean, ensuring a HACCP compliant hygienic work area. The product is NSF listed and made in the USA, backed by a lifetime limited warranty. All Cambro Camshelving is rust and corrosion proof for life, and many Cambro accessories and all add-on units are compatible only with their specific Camshelving line. Shelf plates can be easily removed for cleaning and run through a dishwasher, while traverses and plates can be rearranged without needing to disassemble the surrounding components. The shared post design allows for additional units to be added without utilizing excessive space or decreasing carrying capacity in a straight line, although add-on units must be compatible with the same series of Camshelving.
