This vented plastic shelving system employs Ion-Technology to inhibit the growth of mold, fungus, and bacteria, making it ideal for storing food in walk-in refrigerators and freezers in restaurant and kitchen environments. The shelves are reinforced with a Camguard™ finish that resists scraping, washing, and wear. Constructed from rust-free, recyclable polypropylene, the shelving is dishwasher safe and features weldless construction to prevent liquid or dirt penetration. The shelves are height adjustable at 4-inch increments without the need for disassembly. The posts and bracing incorporate a steel core with a smooth polypropylene exterior, ensuring durability. The kit includes a two post kit and five vented shelves, with a weight capacity of 800 lbs (365 kg) per 24-48" (61-122 cm) shelf, 600 lbs (272 kg) per 54-72" (137-183 cm) shelf, and a maximum capacity of 2,000 lbs (910 kg) per unit. Posts are equipped with adjustable leveling feet, and the design allows for easy cleaning to maintain a HACCP compliant hygienic work area. This product is NSF listed, made in the USA, and comes with a lifetime limited warranty. All Cambro Camshelving is rust and corrosion proof for life, and many Cambro accessories and add-on units are designed specifically for their Camshelving line. Shelf plates can be easily removed for cleaning and reinserted without disassembly, while traverses and plates can be rearranged without disassembling surrounding components. The shared post design enables seamless addition of units without compromising space or carrying capacity in a straight line, and add-on units are compatible solely with Camshelving of the same series.
