This vented plastic shelving utilizes ion-technology that inhibits the growth of mold, fungus, and bacteria, making it suitable for storing food in walk-in refrigerators and freezers in restaurant and kitchen environments. The shelves are reinforced with a Camguard™ finish that resists scraping, washing, or wearing out. Constructed from rust-free, recyclable polypropylene, the shelving is dishwasher safe and features weldless construction to eliminate liquid or dirt penetration. The shelves are height adjustable at 4" increments without disassembling the unit, and the posts and bracing are made using a steel core with a smooth polypropylene exterior for durability. The kit includes a two post kit and five vented shelves, with a weight capacity of 800 lbs (365 kg) per 24-48" (61-122 cm) shelf and 600 lbs (272 kg) per 54-72" (137-183 cm) shelf, with a maximum unit capacity of 2,000 lbs (910 kg). The posts include adjustable leveling feet, and the system is designed for easy cleaning to maintain a HACCP compliant hygienic work area. This shelving unit is NSF listed and made in the USA, with a lifetime limited warranty. All Cambro Camshelving is rust and corrosion proof for life, and many Cambro accessories and all add-on units can only be used with their specific Camshelving line. Shelf plates can be lifted away without disassembly and are dishwasher safe, while traverses and plates can be rearranged without disassembling adjacent components. The shared post design allows for seamless expansion with no wasted space or reduction in carrying capacity in a straight line. Add-on units must be from the same Camshelving series and are also NSF listed and made in the USA.
