This vented plastic shelving utilizes ion-technology that inhibits the growth of mold, fungus, and bacteria, making it ideal for storing food in walk-in refrigerators and freezers in restaurant and kitchen environments. The shelving features reinforced construction with a Camguard finish that won't scrape off, wash off, or wear out, and is made from rust-free, recyclable polypropylene that is dishwasher safe. The weldless construction effectively eliminates liquid or dirt penetration, while the shelves are height adjustable at 4" increments without disassembling the unit. The posts and bracing are constructed with a steel core and smooth polypropylene exterior designed for durability. The kit includes one post kit and four vented shelves, with posts featuring adjustable leveling feet. The weight capacity for corner units is 400 lb. (181.4 kg) per shelf and 1800 lb. (816.5 kg) per unit. The shelving is easy to clean to maintain a HACCP compliant hygienic work area and is NSF listed. It comes with a lifetime limited warranty and is rust and corrosion proof for life. Notably, many Cambro accessories and all add-on units are compatible only with their specific Camshelving line. The shelf plates can be removed without disassembly and washed in a dishwasher, and traverses and plates can be rearranged without disassembling surrounding components. Additionally, the shared post design allows for easy addition of units without wasting space or reducing carrying capacity in a straight line, and add-on units are restricted to Camshelving of the same series.
