This vented plastic shelving utilizes Ion-Technology that inhibits the growth of mold, fungus, and bacteria, making it ideal for storing food in walk-in refrigerators and freezers in restaurant and kitchen environments. The shelves are reinforced with a CamGuard™ finish that resists scraping, washing, and wear. Constructed from rust-free, recyclable polypropylene, the shelving is dishwasher safe and features weldless construction to prevent liquid or dirt penetration. The shelves are height adjustable at 4" increments without unit disassembly, while posts and bracing are made using a steel core with a smooth polypropylene exterior for durability. The kit includes a two post kit and five vented shelves, with a weight capacity of 800 lbs (365 kg) per 24-48" (61-122 cm) shelf and 600 lbs (272 kg) per 54-72" (137-183 cm) shelf, and a maximum capacity of 2,000 lbs (910 kg) per unit. Posts come with adjustable leveling feet. The design is easy to clean to maintain a HACCP compliant hygienic work area, and the unit is NSF listed. It is made in the USA and comes with a lifetime limited warranty. All Cambro Camshelving is rust and corrosion proof for life, and many Cambro accessories and add-on units are compatible only with their specific Camshelving line. Shelf plates can be easily lifted away for cleaning and run through a dishwasher, while traverses and plates can be rearranged without disassembling adjacent components. The shared post design allows for space-efficient straight-line expansion with add-on units that are compatible only with Camshelving of the same series.
