Merz cam switches are recognized for their quality and reliability in the industry, with models available ranging from 16 amp to 125 amp, making them suitable for both residential and industrial applications. This specific model is a 4-screw, front-panel mounting cam switch, with both the switch and handle secured by the included four screws. The cam switches feature contact arrangements fitted with switching chambers that may include 1, 2, or 3 double interrupted conduct paths (Series 111 only). Each conduct path comprises two firmly seated terminals and a mobile contact bridge, guided by a plunger that is positively opened by the cam and closed by a spring. The indexing device offers different torques and four distinct switching angles. The finger-proof cam switches come equipped with screws featuring captive plus-minus heads, and all terminals are designed with screwdriver guiding, funnel-shaped cable entries, and a chamber-like design. Additionally, cable end stops ensure the correct insertion depth.
