Merz cam switches, recognized for their quality and reliability, are UL certified and designed for both residential and industrial applications. The kit includes a 4-screw, front-panel mounting cam switch, with the screws necessary for installation included. Available models range from 16 AMP to 125 AMP, with contact arrangements comprising switching chambers with 1, 2, or 3 double interrupted conduct paths (Series 111 only). Each conduct path features 2 firmly seated terminals and a mobile contact bridge, which operates under the guidance of a plunger. This contact bridge is positively opened by the cam and closed by a spring. The indexing device offers various torque options and four different switching angles. Additionally, the finger-proof cam switches come with screws that have captive plus-minus screw heads, and all terminals are designed with screwdriver guiding, funnel-shaped cable entries, and a chamber-like design. Cable end stops ensure the correct insertion depth. If the required switch type is not listed, it can be obtained through special requests, with additional enclosed unit options available.
