The system incorporates an energy-efficient direct spark ignition and a gas shut-off safety control. It allows for angled mounting up to 30 degrees and requires a 120V supply. The unit is CSA certified and comes with a 1-year limited warranty. Installation and service must be performed by a licensed contractor and must conform to local codes; in the absence of local codes, installation must comply with National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.I (also known as NFPA 54) or CGA B149 installation codes. It requires 4 CFM per 1000 BTU/hr of mechanical ventilation of the total installed capacity, and users should read the installation and operating instructions prior to purchase.
