The Purair® PCR laminar flow cabinet is designed to facilitate polymerase chain reaction (PCR) techniques by creating a sterile work zone that meets and exceeds ISO Class 5 air cleanliness standards. It utilizes Air Science® Multiplex™ HEPA filtration technology, featuring a high efficiency EBM-Papst EC blower and energy-saving LED lighting. This cabinet provides vertical laminar airflow and is equipped with a germicidal UV lamp for decontamination, ensuring an energy-efficient and contaminant-free environment. The construction uses UV absorbing polycarbonate, allowing for 360-degree visibility. Various model sizes are available for desktop use or can be installed on an optional base stand (Model# CARTP548). The cabinet is suitable for non-hazardous contaminants, and its design emphasizes minimizing external or cross-contamination during sample preparation and amplification.
