The Air Science® P5-36XT Purair® Basic Ductless Fume Hood measures 36"W x 27"D x 35"H and is designed for high-level performance at an affordable price, making it suitable for research laboratories, educational facilities, and forensic labs. It features the innovative Air Science® Multiplex™ Filtration Technology, providing protection from hazardous vapors generated on the work surface, ensuring a safe work environment across various applications. Key features include a high-efficiency EBM-Papst EC blower, energy-saving LED lighting, and a low airflow alarm that warns of insufficient face velocity. The fume hood also includes a unique filter clamping design that eliminates bypass leakage outside the cabinet. Filters are sold separately, and at least one filter must be ordered as a required accessory, with the option to stack up to two filters for multiple applications. For solvent, organic, alcohol, and hydrocarbon vapors and odors, the General Purpose Carbon Filter (part number ASTS-001) is recommended, while the ACI Carbon Filter (part number ASTS-015) is suitable for acid vapors, and the Carbon Filter (part number ASTS-013) works for formaldehyde vapors. For powder applications, the HEPA Filter (part number ASTS-030) is advised.
