The 2ft wide ducted fume hood features one 6"OD exhaust collar and requires an external blower for operation. The Air Science® Purair® ducted basic fume hoods are exterior-venting exhaust hoods designed to protect personnel from exposure to hazardous agents and toxic chemicals. These hoods are ideal for applications involving high volumes of volatile organic compounds, toxic chemicals, gases, or powders on the work surface. Utilizing an external ducting system, the air intake face velocity is adjustable to balance conditioned room air conservation with the volume of exhausted contaminated air. The fume hood is constructed with a chemical-resistant epoxy-coated steel frame and offers 360-degree visibility to the operator, providing protection from fume hazards.
