The Purair® Basic Ductless Fume Hoods are engineered to deliver high-level performance features suitable for research laboratories, educational facilities, and forensic laboratories globally, ensuring protection from hazardous vapors generated on the work surface. These fume hoods incorporate the innovative Air Science® Multiplex™ filtration technology, promoting a safe working environment across a wide range of applications. Key features include a high-efficiency EBM-Papst EC blower, energy-saving LED lighting, and a low airflow alarm that warns users of insufficient face velocity. The hoods protect operators from fume hazards and, when equipped with an additional HEPA/ULPA filter, also mitigate particle risks. The unique filter clamping design prevents bypass leakage outside the cabinet. Filters, sold separately, are required accessories; at least one filter must be ordered, and up to two filters can be stacked for multiple applications. For specific needs, the following filters can be procured: part number ASTS-001 for general-purpose carbon filtration of solvent, organic, alcohol, and hydrocarbon vapors and odors; part number ASTS-015 for acid vapors; part number ASTS-013 for formaldehyde vapors; and part number ASTS-030 for powder applications.
