PurAir® Flow Series laminar flow hoods are engineered to safeguard the work surface, products, and materials from particulate contamination. The design facilitates room air to pass through a HEPA filter before uniformly flowing through the cabinet interior, effectively shielding the work from unfiltered air. The airflow is directed to exhaust airborne particulates introduced by the user. This product line incorporates Air Science®'s exclusive Multiplex® HEPA filtration technology to maintain a contamination-free environment. Key features include vertical laminar airflow with HEPA/ULPA filtration that protects materials inside the cabinet from particulates, a high-efficiency EBM-Papst EC blower that ensures a sterile work zone for aseptic techniques, and air cleanliness that meets and exceeds ISO Class 5 standards. Additionally, energy-saving LED lighting enhances visibility, while a large front opening allows for unrestricted access to the work zone. The unit includes the prefilter and all required HEPA filters, with an optional heavy-duty base stand available (part number CARTP548).
