The 3M™ cloth belt 777F measures 3" x 132" with an 80 grit ceramic abrasive, designed to protect against heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, and cobalt alloys by incorporating a grinding aid that reduces running temperatures. The abrasive is resin-bonded to the backing to maintain durability under high heat and pressure. This belt is recommended for dimensioning parts, deburring, blending, and finishing castings and forgings made of stainless steel or other exotic metal alloys. It features a proprietary 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain that enhances toughness and hardness, blended with aluminum oxide for increased performance, longer-lasting abrasive life, and improved cut-rate and durability compared to standard aluminum oxide abrasives.
