The 3M™ Cloth Belt 777F 4" x 60" 80 grit ceramic is designed to protect heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, and cobalt alloys by incorporating a grinding aid that reduces running temperatures, with abrasive bonded to the backing using resin for durability under high heat and pressure. This belt is recommended for applications involving stainless steel and exotic metal alloys including dimensioning parts, deburring, blending, and finishing castings and forgings. It features a proprietary 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain, a ceramic mineral engineered for enhanced toughness and hardness, blended with aluminum oxide to provide a harder, longer-lasting abrasive suitable for moderate to heavy stock removal.
