The 3M™ Cloth Belt 777F measures 1-1/2" x 60" and features an 80 grit ceramic abrasive designed to protect against heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, and cobalt alloys. It includes a grinding aid that reduces running temperatures, and the abrasive is bonded to the cloth backing with resin to maintain durability under high heat and pressure. The belt employs proprietary 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain blended with aluminum oxide to enhance toughness, hardness, cut-rate, and durability, making it suitable for moderate to heavy stock removal and surface preparation. It is recommended for dimensioning parts, deburring, blending, and finishing castings and forgings on stainless steel or other exotic metal alloys. These abrasive belts are available in various widths and lengths for sanding wood or metal and fit most industrial belt sanders. The belt comes with a film splice for added strength in high-pressure grinding applications, offering a balance of durability and flexibility for a range of industrial sanding tasks.
