The 3M™ Cloth Belt 777F measures 4" x 132" with a 60 grit ceramic abrasive designed for heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, and cobalt alloys. It features a grinding aid that reduces running temperatures, with abrasive grains bonded to the cloth backing using resin to maintain durability under high heat and pressure. The belt uses a proprietary 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain combined with aluminum oxide to enhance toughness, hardness, cutting speed, and durability, making it suitable for moderate to heavy stock removal, dimensioning parts, deburring, blending, and finishing castings and forgings. This ceramic/aluminum oxide blend surpasses standard aluminum oxide abrasives in cut rate and longevity. Available in various widths and lengths, the belts fit industrial belt sanders used on wood and metal, including wide belt sanders for wood panel dimensioning and metal sheet finishing, edge sanders for narrow, flat panel edges, and portable belt sanders for blending wood pieces like cabinet doors. The belts have different flexibilities and splices; the 777F features a film splice for added strength during high-pressure grinding applications. Warranty terms apply as per 3M specifications.
