The 3M™ Cubitron™ II cloth belt 984F measures 6" x 48" and features precision shaped ceramic grain with 60 grit on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. This high-performance belt includes a grinding aid that enhances its effectiveness on stainless steel, exotic alloys, carbon steel, cobalt chrome, and nickel alloys, making it suitable for medium to high pressure applications. It is recommended for use in offhand and pressure grinding on all exotic metal alloys. Typical applications include centerless and cylindrical grinding, chrome stripping, deburring, descaling, flat finishing, grinding, high pressure grinding, parting line removal, and shaping.
