The 3M™ Cubitron™ II cloth belt 984F, measuring 6" x 48", features a precision shaped ceramic grain with 36 grit on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. This high-performing belt includes a grinding aid that enhances performance on stainless steel and other exotic alloys, and is suitable for medium to high pressure applications on stainless steel, carbon steel, cobalt chrome, nickel alloys, and other exotic metals. It is recommended for offhand and pressure grinding on all exotic metal alloys. Typical applications include centerless and cylindrical grinding, chrome stripping, deburring, descaling, flat finishing, grinding, high pressure grinding, parting line removal, and shaping. This product is designed for use in the metalworking industry.
