The 3M™ cloth belt 777F measures 25" x 60" and features a blend of 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain and aluminum oxide for increased durability and cutting efficiency, suitable for moderate stock removal to finishing operations. The heavyweight cloth backing supports high-pressure applications, works well on heat-sensitive metals, and can be used in wet or dry conditions. This belt protects against heat-sensitive alloys like stainless steel, nickel alloys, and cobalt alloys with a grinding aid that reduces running temperatures, while resin bonding maintains durability under high heat and pressure. Recommended for stainless steel and exotic metal alloys, it is ideal for dimensioning parts, deburring, blending, and finishing castings and forgings. The proprietary 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain enhances toughness and hardness, with aluminum oxide blended for a harder, longer-lasting abrasive. Ceramic/aluminum oxide blend surpasses aluminum oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability, making the cloth belt 777F an excellent choice for moderate stock removal and surface preparation. These abrasive belts are offered in various widths and lengths to fit most industrial belt sanders, with wider belts used on wide belt sanders for wood panel dimensioning and metal edge smoothing, medium-width belts fitting edge sanders for flat narrow surfaces like panel edges, and narrow belts used with portable belt sanders for sanding or blending wood pieces.
