The 3M™ Cubitron™ II cloth belt 984F, sized 3/4" x 20-1/2", features precision shaped ceramic grain with 36 grit on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. This high-performing belt incorporates a grinding aid that enhances performance during medium to high pressure applications on stainless steel, exotic alloys, carbon steel, cobalt chrome, and nickel alloys. It is recommended for offhand and pressure grinding across all exotic metal alloys. Typical applications include blending, coating removal, deburring, and grinding tasks on builders hardware, medical instruments, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
