The 3M™ Cubitron™ II cloth belt 984F measures 3" x 132" and features precision shaped ceramic grain with 80 grit on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. This high-performance belt includes a grinding aid, enhancing its effectiveness on stainless steel and other exotic alloys, as well as carbon steel, cobalt chrome, and nickel alloys. It is suitable for medium to high pressure applications and is recommended for offhand and pressure grinding on all exotic metal alloys. Typical applications include centerless and cylindrical grinding, chrome stripping, deburring, descaling, flat finishing, grinding, high pressure grinding, parting line removal, and shaping. The belt is commonly used in the metalworking industry.
