The 3M™ Cubitron™ II cloth belt 984F measures 3/4" x 18" and features precision shaped ceramic grain with 36 grit on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. Designed for medium to high pressure applications, it includes a grinding aid that enhances performance on stainless steel, exotic alloys such as cobalt chrome and nickel alloys, as well as carbon steel. The belt is suitable for offhand and pressure grinding, ideal for tasks such as blending, coating removal, deburring, and grinding in industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
