The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Cloth Belt 984F measures 2" x 60" and features precision shaped ceramic grain with a 36 grit size on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. This high-performance belt incorporates a grinding aid that enhances performance on stainless steel and other exotic alloys, as well as carbon steel, cobalt chrome, and nickel alloys. It is recommended for offhand and pressure grinding applications on all exotic metal alloys. Typical applications include centerless and cylindrical grinding, chrome stripping, deburring, descaling, flat finishing, grinding, high pressure grinding, parting line removal, and shaping, primarily within the metalworking industry.
