The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Cloth Belt 984F 2" x 72" features precision shaped ceramic grain on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing designed for high performance. This 36 grit belt includes a grinding aid that enhances performance, making it suitable for medium to high pressure applications on stainless steel, exotic alloys, carbon steel, cobalt chrome, and nickel alloys. It is recommended for offhand and pressure grinding on all exotic metal alloys. Typical applications include centerless and cylindrical grinding, chrome stripping, deburring, descaling, flat finishing, grinding, high pressure grinding, parting line removal, and shaping. The belt is commonly used in metalworking industries.
