The 3M™ Cubitron™ II cloth belt 984F measures 1/2" x 24" and features precision shaped ceramic grain with an 80 grit size on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. This high-performing belt includes a grinding aid that enhances performance on stainless steel and other exotic alloys, making it suitable for medium to high pressure applications on stainless steel, exotic alloys, carbon steel, cobalt chrome, and nickel alloys. It is recommended for offhand and pressure grinding on all exotic metal alloys. Typical applications include blending, coating removal, deburring, grinding builders hardware, medical instruments, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
