The 3M™ Cubitron™ II cloth belt 984F measures 3/4" x 18" and features precision shaped ceramic grain with 80 grit on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. It includes a grinding aid that enhances performance, making it suitable for medium to high pressure applications on stainless steel, exotic alloys, carbon steel, cobalt chrome, and nickel alloys. This belt is designed for offhand and pressure grinding on all exotic metal alloys and is commonly used in blending, coating removal, deburring, and grinding tasks for builders hardware, medical instruments, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
