The 3M™ Cubitron™ II cloth belt 984F, measuring 8" x 132", features precision shaped ceramic grain with 36 grit on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. This high-performing belt contains a grinding aid that enhances performance on stainless steel and other exotic alloys, making it suitable for medium to high pressure applications on stainless steel, carbon steel, cobalt chrome, nickel alloys, and other exotic metals. It is recommended for offhand and pressure grinding on all exotic metal alloys. The belt is ideal for centerless and cylindrical grinding, chrome stripping, deburring, descaling, flat finishing, grinding, high pressure grinding, parting line removal, and shaping in metalworking industries.
