The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Cloth Belt 984F measures 8" x 107" and features precision shaped ceramic grain with a 36 grit on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. This belt includes a grinding aid, enhancing its performance specifically for medium to high pressure applications on stainless steel, exotic alloys, carbon steel, cobalt chrome, and nickel alloys. It is recommended for offhand and pressure grinding on all exotic metal alloys. Typical applications include centerless and cylindrical grinding, chrome stripping, deburring, descaling, flat finishing, grinding, high pressure grinding, parting line removal, and shaping. The belt is suited for use in metalworking industries.
