The 3M™ Cubitron™ II cloth belt 984F measures 5" x 132" and features precision shaped ceramic grain with 36 grit on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. It contains a grinding aid that enhances performance, making it suitable for medium to high pressure applications on stainless steel, exotic alloys, carbon steel, cobalt chrome, and nickel alloys. Recommended for use in offhand and pressure grinding on all exotic metal alloys, this belt is ideal for centerless and cylindrical grinding, chrome stripping, deburring, descaling, flat finishing, grinding, high pressure grinding, parting line removal, and shaping in the metalworking industry.
