The 3M™ Cubitron™ II cloth belt 984F measures 1" x 11" and features precision shaped ceramic grain with 60 grit on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. It incorporates a grinding aid that enhances performance, particularly for medium to high pressure applications on stainless steel, exotic alloys, carbon steel, cobalt chrome, and nickel alloys. The belt is recommended for offhand and pressure grinding on all exotic metal alloys. It is suitable for applications such as blending, coating removal, deburring, and grinding in industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
