The 3M™ Cubitron™ II cloth belt 984F measures 1" x 11" and features precision shaped ceramic grain with 80 grit on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. It includes a grinding aid that enhances performance on stainless steel and other exotic alloys, making it suitable for medium to high pressure applications on stainless steel, carbon steel, cobalt chrome, nickel alloys, and other exotic metals. The belt is recommended for offhand and pressure grinding and is used in applications such as blending, coating removal, deburring, grinding builders hardware, medical instruments, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
