The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Cloth Belt 984F is a 1/2" x 24" precision-shaped ceramic grain abrasive belt featuring 3M precision shaped grain on a YF-weight polyester cloth backing. This belt includes a grinding aid that enhances performance in medium to high pressure applications on stainless steel, exotic alloys, carbon steel, cobalt chrome, and nickel alloys. It is recommended for offhand and pressure grinding on all exotic metal alloys. Typical applications include blending, coating removal, deburring, grinding builders hardware, medical instruments, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
