The 3M™ cloth belt 777F measures 36" x 75" and features a blend of 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain and aluminum oxide for increased durability and cutting efficiency, suitable for moderate stock removal to finishing operations. It has a heavyweight cloth backing that supports high-pressure applications, works well on heat-sensitive metals such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, and cobalt alloys, and can be used in wet or dry conditions. The belt includes a grinding aid that reduces running temperatures to protect against heat-sensitive alloys, and the abrasive is resin bonded to the backing for durability under high heat and pressure. Recommended for dimensioning parts, deburring, blending, and finishing castings and forgings, the proprietary 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain is designed to enhance toughness and hardness, with aluminum oxide blended in for a harder, longer-lasting abrasive. The ceramic/aluminum oxide blend surpasses aluminum oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability, making it ideal for moderate stock removal and surface preparation. These belts are available in various widths and lengths to fit most industrial belt sanders, with wider belts for wide belt sanders, medium-width belts for edge sanders, and narrow belts for portable belt sanders.
