Clean Aire II fume hoods are a Class 1 ductless hood workstation designed for the activation of carbon filtration to effectively manage fumes, odors, and non-hazardous chemical vapors. The kit includes a self-contained ductless hood unit with an integral carbon filter, vapor-proof light, vertical sash, and user-friendly controls. It is constructed entirely of fire-retardant fiberglass and is also equipped with an integral exhaust blower. Small quantities of solvents, acids, and annoying odors are absorbed by the carbon filter, allowing for the recirculation of filtered air back into the laboratory without the need for ducting or venting to the outside, thus enhancing energy efficiency. The unit is shipped completely assembled and ready for immediate operation. Additionally, replacement carbon filters, available by special order, come in a pack of 2 (part #52004).
