The Uniflow CE Airstream fume hood features a unitized superstructure with a molded seamless fume chamber that has coved corners, manufactured from flame retardant chemical resistant composite resin with minimal metallic parts. The viewing sash is made of 3/16" clear tempered safety glass, framed and tracked with chemical resistant PVC. It includes a Varaflow baffle system that efficiently directs air through the fume chamber, with the baffle easily removable for cleaning. The unit is equipped with an explosion proof incandescent light fixture designed for Class I, Div II Group A, B, C & D and Class II Div II Group F & G, operating at 115V/60Hz, and the U.L. listed fixture is installed but not wired, requiring field wiring for compliance with codes. Optional accessories, including explosion proof switches, receptacles, and exhaust blowers, are available separately. All electrical services are U.L. & C.S.A. listed, and the hood is shipped fully assembled. It is important to note that this hood system necessitates a remotely located explosion proof exhaust blower.
