The Hemco 24500 vented tabletop hood workstation features a molded seamless construction, including rear and side walls designed to minimize cross drafts in the work area, with dimensions of 24"W x 15"D x 24"H. Constructed from chemical-resistant, lightweight advanced composites, it allows for easy relocation as procedures or workflows change. The molded chemical-resistant work surface is recessed to contain spillage, and a three-inch diameter outlet collar is provided for duct connection. Fumes are effectively vented through the integral fume side and rear walls and out the top, reducing cross drafts and providing a turbulence-free work area. The unit's base features an integral recessed work surface to contain spillage, making it suitable for various applications, including histology, microprocessor venting, hot plates, microscope stations, student workstations, sample weighing stations, and handling pharmaceuticals. The kit includes flexible ducting—three-inch diameter flex ducting with stainless steel clamps in 12-foot lengths—an exhaust blower that mounts to the wall or table with epoxy-coated steel housing and wheel, providing 135 CFM @ .3" SP with a three-inch diameter inlet and outlet, and a vapor-proof light that is factory installed with a 6-inch power cord and switch, rated at 115V U.L. listed.
