Clean Aire II fume hoods are a Class 1 ductless hood workstation designed for effective management of fumes, odors, and non-hazardous chemical vapors through activated carbon filtration. The unit is self-contained and includes an integral carbon filter, vapor-proof light, vertical sash, and user-friendly controls. Constructed entirely of fire-retardant fiberglass, it features an integral exhaust blower that facilitates air circulation. Small quantities of solvents, acids, and annoying odors are absorbed by the carbon filter, which allows the recirculation of purified air back into the room, eliminating the need for ducting or venting to the outside and thereby reducing energy costs. The fume hood is shipped completely assembled and equipped, ready for immediate operation. Replacement carbon filters are available by special order in packs of 2 (Part #52004).
